RPSL Desk India

RPSL application process

A practical stage-wise view of how an RPSL file moves from preparation to final decision.

The RPSL process should be planned as a structured compliance project. Many delays happen because the first upload is incomplete, internal forms do not match supporting documents, or vessel and manning-agreement evidence is not aligned.

Readiness check

We review the company structure, office, bank guarantee, technical personnel, manning agreement, vessel documents and applicant profile before the file is shaped.

Document build

The RPSL forms, supporting documents, declarations, agreements, SEA/CBA references and checklist evidence are organized for submission.

Application support

The application is reviewed against common RO query patterns before upload and then tracked through query response cycles.

Inspection preparation

The company is prepared against the RPS inspection checklist, including records, policies, office infrastructure and management briefing.

Final review support

Where applicable, we support Form V closure, MLC Compliance Board presentation preparation and post-approval compliance setup.

Expected timeline

A practical planning window is usually 90-180 days after complete documentation, subject to RO review, authority queries, inspection availability, reinspection, MLC Compliance Board scheduling and final authority decision.

We avoid promising unrealistic timelines. Instead, we reduce avoidable delays by preparing the file against real query and inspection patterns before submission.
